The Brood

Loki: He was an outdoor kitty who had been abandoned by his family at my apartment complex. He came to our door and visited every day until we decided it was time to bring him home. He was in rough shape. His teeth were so black we had to have them removed, he was covered in fleas and was as skinny as could be. Once he got cleaned up he completely lived up to his name sake. What a little trouble maker! But as you can see in the photo he could be quite adorable as well. Three years ago he became diagnosed with diabetes and lived on insulin twice a day until we lost him on August 5th 2013 to renal failure. He was a lovable social butterfly and we all miss him greatly.
Salem: My little fighter. You can see his story in my other blog http://salembynx.tripawds.com/ he was only a tripawd for a short time but he brought me to this community where I have found several wonderful friends. I miss him everyday but know that he is finally not in pain and isn’t suffering anymore. <3
Jack: Jack is my 10 year old Cocker Spaniel. We bought him at a pet store on the same day my grandmom was cremated. He looked how I felt. When I brought him in to the “play” room. He made me laugh and laugh and I knew he was perfect. I had no idea at the time my mom was actually buying him!!! We’ve been buddies since day one and he is such a great addition to our family. He can be quite the trouble maker himself! Update: Jack sadly passed away on June 18th 2015 due to liver failure. My heart is broken.
Athena: She came to us shortly after Loki had passed. Her family was looking for a place to take her, or they were going to have her put down. I had just put my kitty down and couldn’t see doing it to a healthy one. I decided to foster her. My brother saw her and it was love at first sight. We ended up keeping her and she has become quite an interesting member of our family. We have always had boy pets so it has been an experience!!!
Dodger: This little guy was a surprise from my family after Salem had passed. They wanted to try to cheer me up on Christmas. He is so playful and full of life. I can’t get him to be still unless he is sleeping. He loves anything with feathers and string, or makes a noise lol. Pretty much anything! He is quite the experience 🙂
I like your style very much. And may the good times and treasures of the present become the golden memories of tomorrow. Wish you lots of love, joy and happiness. MERRY CHRISTMAS. !
